WHITE AS SNOW - by neely

With all this snow that we've had it's reminded me of Isaiah 1:18 (msg.) - If your sins are blood-red, they'll be snow-white. If they're red like crimson, they'll be like wool.

God has saved me from so many things in my life... relationships, sickness, fear, harm, pride, and I could go on. But I will ALWAYS feel relieved and most thankful that He has saved me from MYSELF. I have to continually ask Him for help to not fall into the ruts of sinful thoughts, desires, or actions. Its a daily, if not moment by moment prayer request. When I look at how white and smooth the snow is, it amazes me that, thats how clean God makes my sin/my heart.
I'm so thankful He does that. I can easily get overwhelmed by how dirty my past sins have been. But I can catch my breath knowing He'll forgive me and make me clean if I want him to.

Here's a quote from Max Lucado that I love so much...

"Our Savior kneels down and gazes upon the darkest acts of our lives. But rather than recoil in horror, He reaches out in kindness and says, 'I can clean that if you want'. "

1 John 1:7 - The Blood of Jesus, God's Son, cleanses us from every sin.

I'm so thankful for His redemption and forgiveness today.
